second session, homework

Day 1

MORRETTI! asshole!
This is a dadadodo cutup of the Dog Day Afternoon movie script (downloaded from here) that I had people read out loud from the screen. The emails were sent form the pzwart2 server to random chosen addresses from a list of addresses of people present in the studio at the moment. The idea was to have a person read each email upon receiving it, but becuase of the delayed delivery, some emails were coming in groups and some haven't still arrived. Kenny has read only one and Darija had a long reading of 5. Here you can download the recording >>

Day 2

We are hiding under our black hoods
Three young neighbors discussing their future actions (to be taken behind a broken wooden fence in an abandoned garden filled with garbage where they ususally hide cigarettes and alchohol)

Day 3

Anti-a-social
Is the Hatebook an alternative or an opposition to Facebook? Don't they both simply connect people on the same communication channel? And is this kind of communication actually SOCIAL at all?
Both Facebook and Hatebook are establishing a mesh of data around the same or similar interests, allowing for a quick exchange of information (pictures, moods, messages) and disconnecting it's current users from the touch with the actual reality.
I have created my account on Hatebook to gain access to the content that is put togheter there. I have found quite a few "haters" in the neighborhood and tried to communicate an opposite-to-hate message to them. I have tested my YES_TO_ALL addon (download here: http:/yes.kucjica.org/forms.html) but it didn't work on the google maps baloons so I did it manually. I sent "yes" to 7 people.

Day 4

A lie. Everything but truth. A truth with fictional details. Almost truth.
Thinking about the social as opposed to the anti-social and the minimum activity that would describe or enable social I have had COMMUNICATION in my had for a long time. If social understands a communication between the involved parties and if communication is by itself social, can we say that NON-COMMUNICATION is ANTI-SOCIAL? Can we see a failure in communication as A or ANTI social? Whether this failure arrives becuase of a LACK OD UNDERSTANDING, INTERRUPTION OF CHANNELS for communication or because of MISINFORMATION, the trust is broken, the social is transformed. My strategy to research this will be telling lies. I have put a lie in my Facebook status, saying that I have just returned from Berlin. And that I am sleeping at the moment. To make it more convincing and also more a lie, I added a "recent picture from Berlin" that I actually took in Stockholm, where I have been two weeks ago.

Day 5

A lie. Based on a few true stories, only slightly twisted.
The very next day, we got comments on the Berlin lie, both on Facebook and in person.

The lie for this day is that I have been fixing my washing machine (which most of my friends know I do not own). Fixed it with elastic bands. And now it is working.

The video is showing the pressure meater on the boiler while refilling the heating system with water. You can see the pointer raising and the pressure increasing to the wanted value of 1.5 bars.

Day 6

A lie. Something that happens to everyone. Only it didn't happen to me!
The yesterday's post has caused more or less the same reactions, dependent primarily on how often my friends check their profiles and how much time they have to spend on writing comments to comments...

Today I have been googling for a picture of broken glasses, as it seemed as a good idea for a stroy with not too serious consequences. I cannot stand sunglasses or at least that I never wear them and yet I would not be surprised to receive many words of comfort for my broken favorite pair....
The image bellow is a result of the google image search for a pair of broken glasses I have walked over. I have not found a suitable picture to illustrate this.

Kisses for me,
Save all you kisses for me...
