Tried to give an other look to facebook with an add-on found online (a very bad one).

The aim would be make a simple 2.0 graphic generator, I thought I could use scribus to get something but I found out it is pretty boring about effects(no gradients!very important to get the 3d 2.0 mood). Inkscape could work better but since I still don't know the program very well I find quite difficult to script it(and the documentation about scripting it seems non-existent).

Found out that is not possible to script inkscape as you would do with scribus. Apparently it can't be scripted using SVG files.

Gimp has a python module but it looks like it's meant for building plug-ins. Maybe I don't really need a program to show what I mean by '2.0 graphic generator'.

Since I didn't manage to script any graphic application, I decided I'm just going to script a designer.
Think about something friendly.
Think about something that reflects the idea of a multitude.
Put the two words you got in just one word, no spaces between the twos.
Open Inkscape.
Create a text box(press 't').
Type in the name of your new 2.0 brand.
Keep everything in lower case #much easier to read without grasping the real meaning
Put your text in Helvetica rounded.
Bold.
#Choose a color that can distinct your brand from the others

#Wouldn't be original to have two(or more) colors in you brand? This way you #can communicate the variety of your project.

Go on dafont.com looking for dingbats fonts.
Download for free 'Kalocsa Flowers' ttf.
Install it and use the 'A' character in your logo #this is going to express #both the group and the nature.
Apply one of the colours used before to the rest of the logo.
