LexieLand
Q: What is https://lexie.land? A: A universal homepage for me to dump various webstuffs onto.
Q: Why did I choose to spend valuable time on this during a master's which costs me roughly 400 euros in debt per month? A: Because I wanted to.
Q: How did https://lexie.land come to be? A: I needed someplace to host my div fractal webpages, so naturally this came to be around those pages.
Q: What does https://lexie.land currently feature? A: A landing page, a blog with occasional uploads, an about page with an interactive 3d model realized using x3dom (instant 3D the HTML way!), canvas-based binary tree fractals, div-based binary tree fractals, div-based sierpinski triangle fractals, easter eggs.
Q: Was there inspiration for this website? A: I got a lot of help from various web-based critters currently active on platforms like neocities and nekoweb, most of them being stalwart adherents of web1.0. Their works and websites inspired me to even start caring about web in the first place.
Q: Is there a repo? A: Yes, it's hosted using Github Pages for now
Q: Why is this formatted as a QnA? A: Because it's fun.
