We spoke about a new project that I want to start. This will be about my grandmother on my mums side. She fled from Hungary to The Netherlands in 1956. For now I do not have a clear idea what the process will be. I do know that there are so many interesting layers to the story.

What I know for sure is that I want to work with my journalistic back ground and make it into an artistic visualisation.

I shared my thoughts with David and he gave me some rich idea´s and feedback.

(I always find it hard to get my mind structured after)

Music plays a big roll throughout my whole family, so I also feel that it is a rich element in this pile of historical, family information.

David referred to Guido Van Der Werve. We looked to two video's of Guido and i felt very connected and moved by Guido's work. This is a very good reference for me.

We spoke about the element of this box. The box that every family has in there house, with old pictures and family history. And the meaning of this box that is contained with such a rich history.

I will involve family in it and I will do research to the 1956 event: Hungarian citizens fleeing to Holland. And look into archival footage and how this route is walked.

In my head, for now, there are many directions to go to. And I do not yet want to make a choice yet.

Main focus wil be:

- The music

- The historical information on the event in 1956

- My grandmothers short diary

- My grandmothers family
