GUIDELINES

- When an artist talk is agreed, we should ask about documenting the talk.
- Only cc Leslie when the artist agrees on giving talks and start arranging a date.
- Please add a marker to add name and email in the bottom of your email, which will make it sound more professional.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Budget

The fees for a visiting tutor are ___ euros per day.  
There is a further possible travel/subsistence allowance to be agreed and signed off on a case by case basis with Leslie.

Approaching the guest tutor

If the student panel select a guest tutor - the student who nominated the tutor should then be responsible for approaching them.
The department will supply a basic letter template with conditions etc you can use as a guide.  
It will include basic financial terms and travel stipend details.

NOTE: Each lecturer should make at least a  one-hour artist talk/presentation of their work on the first day they teach.

Arrangements

arrange dates of visit, preferably in the evenings or on Thursdays and Fridays when there are no classes or tutorials.

Finalising dates and payment

arrange billing and other details with Leslie.
