I am interested in collaboration and open participation projects that are happening online and offline. For my research I would like to focus on different types of collaboration, remix culture and the relationship between producer and consumer. What happens if the producer is also the consumer, and can this make the consumer more active instead of passive. Related to my previous projects I want to research on different open collaboration projects within the mediums of artwork, drawings and photographs. What can be the main reasons for a participant to make a contribution to a project. Does the outcome of the project stimulate the participant to collaborate. For example when a project is published as a digital file or analog object does this matter for the motivation of the participant. And what is the difference in experience within the process of making a digital file or an analog object. Filtering information in a digital fast way or relatively slow analog way. Exploring the static aspect of material objects versus temporary unstable digital information
