Chuck Kleinhans – Creative industries

After reading half of the text all those questions came into my mind: Is an artist educated to make and sell a product? Should it be better if artists are part of the commercial, capitalist structure/factory? How can we make money out of creativity in these creative industries? Instead of making art to let people think about their existence and their place within the community creative industries want to abuse creativity and thus art to make money and entertain people and by this avoid people to think for themselves… Creative industries seem to use art to close every escape-door of a big prison we live in, what happened to sincere art? Is there still place for so-called ‘true art’ in this capitalistic society?
