  • it only works as a verb when <tigers> is directly followed by as the subject. in any other case, it will read as a preposition.

  • means to spread or coat something with butter.
  • technically, it also only works as a verb when <tigers> is directly followed by as the subject. however by linguistic extension, it can be also be apply to other subject nouns.(i hope)
