Thesis outline

Question

How can generated short story workshops be used as a method to express and deal with an issue?

Structure

My idea is to structure the thesis in the same way I structure the books for generative story workshops. You will at first only read a short sentence that is supposed to state something about the chapter but all the content and context is hidden inside the pages, such as this

Intro

An intro in types of short stories

from fables to children’s books to social media one liners (instagram, news headline, clickbait)

Who

Who are they written by Who do they teach

the use of short stories written by adults to educate children
stories for children with hidden meanings only adults will understand

Where

Where do we use them

From classrooms to reading to children at bedtime
short attention spam generation

where could we use them

workshops with specific audiences

What

What do they teach

The morals present in these stories

What is the psychology behind this method to shape people

Why

Why do we relate to them

The psychology behind us feeling empathy for imaginary characters
why do we bring things that don't talk to life

How

How little can say a lot

the hidden messages
how these workshops can be a window to the state of the person

Reveal story reading creating new worlds within the book
