Marieke / Image Analysis
Wat are we looking at?
Monochrome or duochrome? Intens you look and escape it holds you back. Colour disturbs. It is doable to view but it still seems like it's moving. The blur makes it hard to focus. Aggresive colour. There is not much contrast. From a distance the image is less blurry. Trees left top corner. The trees give perspective. Disruptive, ominous. The letter N or A can be seen in the trees. The figure presents situation. Diagonally positioned. It is a bit abstract. Wall on the right. Tree and figure parallel to balance. Contrast in shapes the bushes look like foam. There is something weird with the person. Balance, falling. Shady. This colour is used to grow plants in a treehouse. Animal register of light embryonic state. Egg grow. The artificial filter is a secret: something we can't see. Fight representation forest is amplified. Alien. Wildfire. Imagery news. The more I look the less of a forest it becomes. It looks like a backdrop, the image is very flat it becomes more of a set. This is something we shouldn't see or are allowed to see: forbidden. No continuous flat multiple 2D layer. After some time it becomes artificial when the gets used to the forest. Vaporwave. Historical landscape painting. George de Chirico. Ritual performance art. Horror / The Witch. Richard Mosse. Elegant lines and disruptive. Danger element. Colour suspends it from time. Live stage theater. Thermal video / Migrants. Hiding or travelling.
