Michaela Lakova (BG) is an interdisciplinary artist. Currently she is enrolled at Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam, MA in Media Design and Communication. She holds a BA(NATFA) in Stage and Screen design. Her field of research and practice involves catchy bits and bytes of errors, malfunctions systems or the inevitable generation of data traces and its problematic resistance to deletion.

Given that the devices that store and reproduce data are no longer in our hands. depicts from computation systems, to legal mechanism, ethics and psychological or philosophical ramifications the very notion of delete is cited as an important function, which has never been applied. [name] is an automated system, where the per-formative act of manually browsing, selecting and erasing someone’s data is passed over to the audience.
