b. rejection as violence

1. Actively and aggressively excluding someone, not accepting them and expressing negative attitude towards them. Violently leaving someone or something outside.

2. Also the physical and mental sideffects that occur to sb after being excluded.

3. There is an institutional violence behind design. For example, in architecture the built environment prescribes what your body is allowed to do and what is not; the directions that you are allowed to take, the spaces that you

are allowed to enter (or occupy), the ways you are allowed to place your body, the distribution of someone's time etc. Someone took these decisions, having certain designing goals in mind that many times intersect with maintaining
