| How come the soldier realises only just now how awfull the killings has been for the children / people

| The shot of the people in makeup doesn't make sense now does it?

| It's good to see the main caracter break. It really helped the movie.

| Before it was about ridicule and disbelieve. But from there on it realy gets personal. The struggle of the main caracter shows it.
