(Y) What have you been making?
'''What have you been making'''
She has different people working in different...
Making clothing and bioplastics. Making materials herself. She has been doing lots of pottery and recently finished a short film about her best friend Amber and photobook about Berlin.
She likes combining different mediums.

(Y) Do you have any preferences? May be is it more about combining?
This past weeks I have been mainly been editing a short 4 mins video, for a presentation at the Eye museum.
She feel lot of fulfilfment working with different materials and textiles, so she is may be trying to get this into dthe digital work. For her intimate has a connection with intimate connexion. (Y) feeling connecting in your films
In the video I used an audio recording of a friend from several years ago. Combined with another language being visuals. Energetic video, partially violent.

(Y) Have you done this in your previos work
Starting point when working with Yalou, finding new methods that make one feel good. Sharing a conversation. Private female conversations and stories. Where one can find several layers. The have not been seen as important. Now in the second film the conversation is the main point.
She says it is different to describe her previous work. May be  graduation projects: ... econd hand materials, depicting that through photography.

(Y) Connexion?
Connecting audio recording as letters. Similar feeling. Listened to recordings and focussed on audio talking about feeling good in relation to creative expression and sexuality. The way she speaks being very intriguing.
Installations to have space - physic space- to get people connect with each other. Not only having objects but Into the sustainability direction. Installation to tie all this together.

(Y) How would you that in front of you? How you imagine that?
A new way of reflecting on conversations ans how to visualise them.
Slow close shots of feeling of intimacy, someone working with the material. People working on crafts and what they used to be. Now is harder to make crafts and we as artist we stay so far away from it. People tend to be mesmerized watching people doing crafts.
Something in the act of sharing a private moment.

(Y) Yes, people just doing that.
Dislocating the nature of a conversation.
What is next?
Connected to playfulness. Change the context, playing with it.
Physical intimacy and friendship? Her boyfriend surroundings.  Beautiful
The conversation itself does not change, but the framework.
Gives a feeling of freedom to try different formal aspects, move around and mix

(Y) How you'd materialized this idea?
This is hard. Making scarfs miss the concept?
More of building sets and proposal for photo shoots or more sculptural in some ways, with pottery in a more abstract  through organic and abstract shapes to get the same feeling of softness. Organic shapes benefits.
Making daily objects that reminds you the shapes of nature, organic of natural shapes. Little changes in your life, may be a privileged position may be.

(Y) Mental health is really important for you.
'''What do you want to do next'''
(Y) About with your boyfriend circle, have you any ideas?
Photo or film would be really nice. How to capture a situation that happens normally.
Stage VS natural?
How to shot in a natural, not to feel stage. There is a struggle there. Close up slomo shots of people touching to just create an atmosphere and an atmosphere short film. Or photographs.

(Y) Photographs, photobooks are very important for you. Could you combine this with this idea...

Feel a need to explore more the visual language in editing. making different versions of the same video. Share it with others in the master. Which can help as an exercise. How does the rhythm, the visuals work. How does it function to show a video of a foreign language.
and a small documentary about plastic pollution in Rotterdam.
How to combine journalism and art.

(M) How?
Technically and content.

Combining is hard. Lots of things to be doing in a certain wat. She wants to keep journalistic methods and using other arts aspects to visualize. The story is more journalistic and the presentation "artistic".
Time of rest after finishing a work and take time to reflect. So much has happened as you were just focussed on doing. Find unconscious/impulsive choices and look at those now.
Example: She made up with the girls, got familiar, went to church... List of questions which were objective questions, this was the journalistic vision, the artistic part came with the editing, more experimental.
Different languages being actual languages bur also visual languages.

(M) Next?
need to study for that more to get in depth. But yes, language is important.
The next is that she is working with Aitana in a  still very abstract concept working in the medical field, diving into that. Different components:
the whole uncomrtable feeling, not being in control with your body, were gonna look at that.
The pasts weeks she's been talking with her mom. Grandmother emigrated from Hungary.

(C)Things making you feel uncomfortable, like for example the work with the christian family and also with the physical aspect unconfort with vocal cords?
Would like to approach everything with humour.
This come from her critical voice from journalism, the things that she has seen, about confronting yourself with something that is more unwon, making you feel not in control because that brings her to the story. Allow yourself experience in a way that may is unexpected, it gives you more reflection points. It is very important to not judge. It is ok to feel frustrated and unconfortable. Is a personal way of doing that things.
Reflection on the last journalistic work she worked with, it was too far from her, she really missed important for her. Trying to find subjects which are closer to her and dive into a story let it confront you.

(C) You're looking to be taught or to teach?
How do different languages speak to each other.
More journalistic. I don't want to educate people, I want to share in a way that could be open to interpretation.... In journalism the subjectivity goes away, telling the story from the beginning til the end and she feels more connected with mo

(M) Why do you wanna make it?
About vocal cords. New, challenging working with Aitana. Just the medical field has something interesting and unreachable and combining that with the visual of the vocal cords, but very beautiful and interesting, an element you use the most, Using that as an opening to much more elements in the medical field.
About the grandmother, she doesn't know a lot about that. She sees a certain pain when she talks about that and her mum really rejected this heritage and there is something that is interested for her. It is not developed at all.

Why do you want to focus on that

Feel a need to explore more the visual language in editing. making different versions of the same video. Share it with others in the master. Which can help as an exercise. How does the rhythm, the visuals work. How does it function to show a video of a foreign language.

Technically and content.
