I don’t know. I’m not really good at writing. I think writing is important and so is making, I always work through my own feelings. On my previous studies I had to write essays where we chose our own subjects; I wrote about surrealism I also used this in my own photo work. I make photos where you cannot see the face and chose objects to hide the faces. | |||
[Which surrealists did you write about?]; Dali and Magritte, getting to know the painters. We also wrote pieces which explain our concepts and research about the subjects. They asked what the idea was; what kind of image and its relevance; what audience it works for; for me it was the people who recognise the same feelings and struggle with themselves. I am interested in art and photography; because it has an underlying story. |
