Last night Mr Dusan Barok introduced Oliver Laric's video work titled 'version'(2009).

Berlin based artist Oliver Laric is adept at subtle restructuring of existing popular media. With gentle emphasis he diverts images, turning them in on themselves to such a degree that they come to reflexively represent their own critique.

In one part of the work, he presents many re-appropriated thumbnail clips created by users of the moment that Zidane headbutts Materazzi. In context to manipulation, replication, authenticity, organic growth, copyright, networked media, a narrator overlays the Many Worlds theory by Hugh Everett. " similar to the many worlds theory by quantum physicist Hugh Everett, originally published in 1957 a multiplicity of realities can co- exist. According to Everett we live in a multiverse composed of a super position of very many possibly infinitely many increasingly divergent non-communicating parallel universes or quantum worlds. Every historical 'what if' compatible with initial conditions and physical law is realised. Or outcomes exist simultaneously, but do not interfere further with each other. Each single prior world having split into mutually unobservable but equally real worlds. According to the artists and musician Momus, every lie creates a parallel world, the world in which is true.

• multiple realities(parallel universes are also called "alternative universes", "quantum universes", "interpenetrating dimensions", "parallel dimensions", "parallel worlds", "alternative realities", and "alternative timelines", among others.)

• not of mixed reality but of many realities exacerbated by new media to easily manipulate the perception of reality ( the individual interpretation of external information, data, output, signals, symbols etc .) for example:

--> What are the consequences of to being able to materialise, manifest your paradigm, reality, truth? --> how does this shape the way we perceive ourselves and the universe(s) we exist in? --> If we understanding that in Everett's 'many worlds interpretation' the dimensions are of non-communicating parallels, then the notion of mixed reality of 'transreal', is more than just awareness of each others existance. It is the bridging of communication between the realms.
