News (?)This is for the official site
@andre (9.03.2015): I sat-down with Annet and some of the 2nd years, since they were discussing the graduation project's website or catalog. The ones there were interested in the idea of having their show's catalog as part of the website. They were also eager to have the catalog in print. They added their thought to http://pzwart3.wdka.hro.nl/wiki/Archiving_grad_projects_2014#Documenting_the_Unstable It might be a bit tricky to combine all their wishes and the practical need to get things done. I wouldn't dwell on it for now, but just keep it in the back our of brains, that we might have to some separate the current Graduation works from the previous. And give prominence to the first. Maybe it would be beneficial to bring Annet into the development of website.
wiki: content & strctures
@andre (9.03.2015): I was looking at how the graduation works were documented on the wiki. The major issue seems to be in the introduction of Category:Grad_project last year. Until then grad project were given Category:work.
http://pzwart3.wdka.hro.nl/wiki/Category:Grad_project
- Only 2014 Graduation projects were given the Category:Grad_project
- They use the Template "Grad project"
- the work's descriptions are often missing, as in http://pzwart3.wdka.hro.nl/wiki/DUST http://pzwart3.wdka.hro.nl/wiki/Gallery_Template
- Front-end: http://pzwart3.wdka.hro.nl/unlinked/
http://pzwart3.wdka.hro.nl/wiki/Graduation_Projects_Archive
- In 2014 Graduation projects were given the Category:Grad_project
- Before 2014 Graduation projects were given the Category:work
- Some graduation work have incomplete an Form - E.g. No Thumbnail
- works go back to 2004
A work should only be given a website page only if it has at least one image
Aymeric's list
- suggest to Simon that we ask template01 for the styling
@andre (9.03.2015): Simon agreed to have template create the stylesheet. Plus, there might be budget for them to create a paper publication from the wiki/website. Simon needs a figure
- defining tasks (who does what)
- planning and aiming to release at least a month before the application deadline (make sure to remind Simon he needs to ask Renée to give us at least a month extension)
- choosing domain name
- release early release often
- KISS, please KISS and KISS
