!IMPORTANT TO KNOW. THIS WIKIPAGE AS A PART OF THE TRIMESTER OF THE PROTOCOLS FOR AN ACTIVE ARCHIVE IS DEDICATED TO THE IDEA OF EXPERIMENTAL PROCESSING OF INFORMATION. TO FEED AND MAINTAIN THE WORMHOLE OF MY READING, WORKING AND OTHER PUBLICATING. This space requires effort because it gives a chaotic overview of what has been going on and what I have been doing.. Title of work in progress w/ senka : Byte Noise: Sound you see me? Sound you don't
Description of work: These 3D renditions of the Radio Worm studio contrast the empty studio with all the invisible audio data, the endless stream of radio shows, stored on Worm's hard drive. Since this is the most important space for the community of radio makers, we created this snapshot of it while thinking about the question 'What do we do with all this invisible digital data and how do we prevent it from getting "dusty"?'
Thoughts of a coll-active archive OR collaboractive archive means not only properly archiving but also cleaning up behind you when you leave the activity?

inaccessibility
the word itself is already not accessible, why make a word difficult or hard to get (understand).
able to access by disable to access
rejectability
on care note, overdigitizing, digitalizing? grows the ability to reject.
getting stuff done isn't doing well. too many doors for people that don't have the keys, can't 'walk' into the doorway
Questionnairerasure
Are worm a space a radio and a place and more
I listen in / to worm
I go out I listen I read and I archive. Through the pipeline |
can’t keep anything that is clutter but need to keep the importance and dance.
not the snake, am the wormoborous the community that feeds on ourshelves.
Leave the archive as to what is important rather than imported. leave files
And will come around and eat the cookies the crumbs lost. !important
Use the space for the next to continuity in unity of the worm
Prepare for leaving but never for farewell. Say goodbye to what you usen’t.
Is het kunst of kan het weg?
meaning
Is it art or can it be thrown in the trash
Can we empty the bin
In order to begin where our wormhole left us
If moved from here to there to then from now
What is taken
What is taken into consideration
In what state is the open city, In which state lies it and how do you leave it
The space as the wormhole through the wordhole takes us into the active archivalry.
The physicality contradicts the practicality, being pragmatic of fragments
Being pragmatic over the roots of the space into the data trees
What can be erased? In order to digest, what is there
It should be clear, or cleared or ´klaar´ which means done
You can store it elsewhere but that isn’t viable over the long run, worms don’t run, they crawl and feed on what is there.
This is no calling for to be sterile or a vote for marie kondo, please kondon’t, but only the wormunity can understand what needs to be kept
Who are the worms, do they want to keep everything?
Are they capable of leaving recordings behind?
Is it a doom scenario to delete stuff to remain active in archive
Or does cluttering / hoarding / keeping storage in servers and clouds fit the idea or the worm
Will the worm be worn out because of the ecological ideas of the worm
The worm can’t proceed while being stuck, the worm needs to crawl in order to move, to breathe through the space, how does the worm think of using the space,
How do you conserve if conservation can harm the soil, maybe digging a bit too deep in these old gardened graveyards but if we wish to make an apocalyptic doomsday protocol, we must show tough love about the institution of the open city. How do we maintain traffic in a city if the city is blocked and clogged?
Making the worm accessible and open implies that space is made. In what order does the worm make space for achieving an active archive rather than proceeding as the hoarding worm.
Consider this an open call for an open city, an open space for an open mind where questions are open food for thought that the worm can digest again and let its excrements be dissolved in the past.

Experimental process of a shitload of information a ton of things to follow up. Finding my way back in this wormhole wordhole redshift natural chaos of matter of transmissional things. Everything seems non-linear for me. Living in the observant bubble in a productive group/transit. Things are slowly getting back into place and I am just here and seeing things. Running to maintain the feed.
A ‘wormhole’, first proposed by Albert Einstein and Nathan Rosen in 1935, is a theoretical ‘bridge’ through folded space-time, which could provide a means of traversing large distances instantaneously.

So.. what do I NEED to do for next week?
MEET WITH SENKA AND RIVIERA ON WEDNESDAYchopchop the audio for riviera- read / listen:
- listen to track 5 of The Laurence Rassel show that is based on text from an earlier chapter of Peggy Phelan's full text which I'll upload here: Unmarked - The Politics of Performance (page 19)
- (a) A link to the editorial of vol. 25, issue 2 (2002) of The Journal for Media History, which contains a long, very enlightning paragraph on the definition of "radio archives". The whole article (in fact the whole issue) is worth reading: https://tmgonline.nl/articles/10.18146/tmg.841
- (b) An article from the same issue, good to skim through in order to understand the concept of "silent radio archive": https://tmgonline.nl/articles/10.18146/tmg.822
- and second, a text from German theater maker and theoretician Bertolt Brecht, The Radio as a Communications Apparatus: https://zulip.xpub.nl/user_uploads/2/f4/QUW_oO1vyLvozpbGf3Yri_9v/brecht_radio.pdf)
- look back at the documentation, trial and error Radio Worm: Protocols for an Active Archive#Tuesday 26 September
- Check all pads?
- https://archive.org/details/the-real-world-of-technology LISTEN SOMEWHERE BETWEEN THURSDAY - SUNDAY
- (BE)FOR(E) TUESDAY
- share your annotations on the Phelan text in this pad: https://pad.xpub.nl/p/phelan-1993-ontology-of-performance
- to write protocols on this page: https://pzwiki.wdka.nl/mediadesign/Personal_Protocols These protocols could be more personal, a routine, or ones that relate to collectives, or specifically our group 2.a Record yourself expanding on the meaning of the protocol (Why this protocol? What does it mean to you?) 2.b The protocols are only accepted when done voluntarily (you don't have to.) 2.c Post the protocol recording on the same wiki page

- ↑ ----A ‘wormhole’, first proposed by Albert Einstein and Nathan Rosen in 1935, is a theoretical ‘bridge’ through folded space-time, which could provide a means of traversing large distances instantaneously. Mathematically, wormholes appear to be highly unstable and would likely collapse as soon as they form, as well as being vanishingly small. And they can only form with so-called ‘eternal’ black holes – ones which do not interact with matter or lose mass through Hawking radiation. So, most scientists would admit that wormholes, although a useful and interesting theoretical possibility, probably don’t exist in reality. Read more: Is there a wormhole hiding at the centre of the Milky Way? What is a black hole and how did we discover them? Is it theoretically possible to create a wormhole on Earth? Are black holes always found at the centre of galaxies?
