What do you want to make?
I want to make an installation with moving images and still images. For the moving images I will visit places in Berlin where hate crimes have taken place. I will record these places composed as a still images with little movement within the frame. I want to create a space for the viewer that lies between empathy and contemplation that dissolves the distinction between me and the other.
Time table & How do you plan to make it
In October I will testshoot landscapes / cityscapes during day and night to test lighting and movement and I will contact the police to find out places in Berlin.
