I'm working on a script based on me and my lifestyle and will cast different actresses to play myself. My aim is to make 4 short films, filmed in a different film genre, such as documentary, reality tv, fiction film or a social media/instagram style. The storyline is basically the same but every time told in a different way, for every genre I want to find a different formula to "promote" the character Irma 2.0 in a way that fits the target audience. I'm still searching for a suspense sentence, in novels this is usually the second or the first sentence. What makes the story interesting to watch and would this be different for the different audiences?

What do you want to make?

First project : Irma 2.0

4 short films about my personal life played by 4 different actresses.

What makes the story interesting to watch and would this be different for the different audiences?

you answered what the project will be. try to also answer what will it do? what (done)/ how / why?

How do you plan to make it?

I'm in the middle of my research on storytelling in novels, the next step is to develop the script and cast the actresses. Then organize different types of camera's for a visual language that fits the genre and then shoot! Then I'll start my experiment in editing the story in two ways. One for a 4 screen installation and one for a linear movie.

What is your timetable? Since this is not my final project proposal, I want to develope this work within the coming weeks. I can imagine the work would be interesting for our project in de EYE museum, this would be in January or February
