I

I am Stone Ying Shi, aka 死動, from Beijing China, 23 years old. Before I came to Rotterdam, I worked as a filmmaker for a few years. I had never thought that I was able to start making some other forms of works until April 2016. I decided to make 3d images for a while for the following 2 reasons:

1. I love 3d works so much but never really try to make them;
2. I want to say something but do not know what to say, so I want to dig my mind a bit through making nonexisting contents through software only instead of filmming the real world;
3. I want to be seen.

Say

It is the first time I try to think in an "artist" way instead of practitioner way. I do really know what I would never say in my own works: Love, Hate, Hope, Politics, Belief, Family, and China. It seems like I killed all the topics in our life, did I? "What else can I say?" "Maybe only myself." I decided to introduce myself in my following works.

What

What is me. An Asian woman.

Beautiful

I want everything I make is beautiful because I want to be seen by people. Nobody knows what is beautiful, me neither. I just started my first work without any idea, kept making it and to my suprise I thought it was sort of beautiful, and I did feel myself behind the image.
Somehow I kept this style in the following works and untill now I still like it.

The Method

I do not really have any method. If there is, it is that I am able to sit in front of computer longer than normal people.
