'''play the ideology game: [http://pzi-gestures.rubenvandeven.com/game/index.php *fingerkrieg* (beta)]'''

'Fingerkrieg' is a 15 seconds game that is played in a web-browser, in which the player is asked to make as many 'hits' as possible. How the user makes these 'hits' depends on the team he/she is in: the 'clickers', or the 'swipers'. The user's device determines which team the player is part of. Smartphones and tablets are redirected to the 'swipers', and laptops and desktop computers are redirected to the 'clickers'.

After a 50 seconds introduction to some contextual information about your 'teamspirit', the timer starts.

The game presents two human-hardware interfaces, namely the act of clicking and the act of swiping. Either clicking and swiping are both an extention of the human hand, to point at- and navigate through webpages and filesystems. While the act of clicking on mouse-buttons or touchpads is pretty binary (as it's about being either 'on' or 'off'), the act of swiping is a more naturalized gesture.

While the act of clicking on mouse-buttons or touchpads is pretty binary (as it's about being either 'on' or 'off'), the act of swiping is a more naturalized gesture.

the script 'sees' on what device you're playing the game, you're part of the clicker team on a laptop. When you play on a tablet or smartphone, you're a swiper.

the clicker team introduction:

WE ARE THE CLICKING TEAM
We must fight to defend integrity upon everything.
Decisions for the community have to find their basis
in reason and be supported by facts. Emotions
and politics is a dangerous cocktail. We believe
that this is our responsability to ensure citizens
receive the necessary education to develop skills
leading them to autonomy.
