For my remix project I wanted to do a remix of Roy Lichtenstein "Whaam" from 1963, that is itself a remix and of Irv Novick from DC Comics' All-American Men of War #89 1962
I wanted to put the focus on the text that is in the painting and normal are subdued by the graphic illustration of the fighter jets and explosion. My plan is to take out the text and remix it by making typographical poster.
- Use text from painting.
- Use colours from the painting.
- Put in a format of a poster. (Fitting format since the Roy Lichtenstein is a painting on a wall)
