As we discussed last year, from this trimester half of you will get thesis tuition from Janice McNab and the other half from me. Janice, an artist who is also doing a Phd, is also a very experienced writing tutor. | |||
Thursday is a FULL DAY seminar | |||
11:00 = Intro to the thesis writing process. We will go through the thesis guidelines. The stages of the process will be outlined (thesis outline, first chapter, first draft, second draft, final). | |||
11:30 = Janice introduces herself | |||
11:45 = brief, informal introduction of who you are and what you do (five minutes each) | |||
13:00 = lunch | |||
AFTERNOON | |||
14:00 = Write draft outline of thesis and compile bibliography. During the afternoon Janice will spend a little more time getting to know you individually. | |||
