After graduating, she worked mainly on stopmotion animation. Her focus shifted towards new media and currently she is based in the Netherlands, where she is an MA candidate in the Piet Zwart Institute, where she develops research methods and experiments with collected data in public spaces. She works with various media but focuses on making tangible works and experimenting with DIY strategies both physically and virtually. Her works examine processes of encoding, signification and communication to bring personal moments. Yoana is a ember of the Tip Top orchestra and member of the Filmwerkplaats, Rotterdam. | ||

currently a freelancer artist, experimentator and stopmotion animator
January 2013 I started an internship in Rogier Wieland Studio in Den Haag, Netherlands ( www.rogierwieland.com ) and since May 2013 work as a freelancer in the studio
2011 - with like-minded friends started www.weareasma.com - a small visual collective.
