As a child I spend my Summers in Brandenburg, a forgotten part of Germany, wrapping the capital city Berlin like a belt. There is nothing going on in Brandenburg, the low infrastructure had many leave the place to life elsewhere, only few stores remained. We used to pick up seasonal vegetables on our way, that neighbours put on a little table in front of their house. Unsupervised, next to it there was a small bowl where everyone chipped in what they had in exchange for the food.
