During the workshop with Sabine, we learned how to sketch with different materials and allow the material to guide our creation process. The concept of the video i made relates to what we did in Nan's workshop and my love for music. As a result, I began searching for footage of instrument creation in the openbeelden.nl archive. While editing, I came across a video by CEE-ROO, my favorite YouTuber, who collaborated with an Iranian news channel and used found footage of Iran. The music in the video had an amazing and complex sound design, which I used to guide my creative process. I matched the footage to the music, resulting in a satisfying final product. I enjoyed every second of the process.
