::The prupose of the installation was to represent the imperceptible sound and light in time. The city Kranj where we did the installation is made on a rock between two Rivers. Human perception of time is very short compared to a life of a rock that is being brushed and transported by water. We perceive a stone as a static object, but in fact it does a really long way before it becomes sand. The composition of sounds of stones that are travelling is too long for human perception, so we translated it in a short period of time but at the same time we stretched the single sound of a rock so you could hear all the hidden frequencies that are too fast for human ear. The light that reflects on the river is moving very fast and it’s in a big contrast with the movement of the stone, so we slowed it down, that the audience could observe its form in more details.

::19,7 μs // dim dynamo blot is a 1.54’ long stop motion hand drawn animation. There is no narrative story, we can observe just the movement of a black tangled object made of pencil drawn lines. Those are interweaving in a dynamic movement and comparison between the object and empty space, passing from the soft and light shapes to aggressive and violent movements. The experimental audio composition behind is made on the purpose for the animation. It includes the sound of scratching pencil on the paper and experimenting sounds of a trumpet.

::The animation is made of 900 50x100mm pencil draws. They were not drawn on the transparent paper, but in a linear order one next each other. There were made many sequences that included similar behaviour and characteristic of the shape. ::The animation represents 19,7 μs of my internal experience in everyday life. It is my internal happening and motion. It’s like a dynamo that spins all the time and gives me energy, emotions and thoughts. It oscillates all the time. Sometimes is very delicate and fragile, quietly floating in between the external outputs, touching and feeling them gently, changing the shape in a very sensitive way. Than sometimes again it can be very powerful, romping and raging without the consideration of the external torrents floating from the outside life, taking a form of a cloud of energy that can’t be controlled and it’s somehow prime and pure in its raging existence. The animation is also a study of the movement of my drawing method, where I experiment with an expressive semi-controlled nervous line that comes from the same perception of my inner experience taking the form of my sensorial landscapes.

=METHODS - 1st session=

=In the first session I present three of my latest project: two installations and one animation.=

==SKALA==

Skala is an interactive audiovisual installation, a harp made of stones. The harp is mounted vertically on the edge of the stairs under a canyon of Kokra river in Slovenia. Nine stones collected in the canyon of Kokra are tied up with a black rope in the height of the shoulders with a distance of 15cm from each other. The installation is made for the night time, the only light was made of the projection and a stoplight that illuminated the stones in a linear way. On the back of the stones we find contact microphones that are connected to Arduino and computer. Above the stairs are 2 projectors mapped on the colons of the bridge over the canyon.

The stone harp was made to be played by the audience. If you touch the stones the emit sound and change the projection. That happens because the vibration triggers the contact microphones behind the stones that are connected to Arduino and computer. Arduino is connected to the computer where are running two programs; Ableton for the audio part and Resolume Arena for the visual part. The research of the sound was made with fieldrecording of the river and stones during the artistic residency. They were stretched and modulated in Ableton and Paul Stretch. The videos for video mapping are recorded reflections of the light in the water and modified in Adobe Premiere.

The puRpose of the installation was to represent the imperceptible sound and light in time.

==memofrakt==

Memofrakt is a light installation mounted outside in a Križevniška street in the center of Ljubljana. The installation is hanging in the middle of the street above the spectators. Four flat ellipses are hanging in the same height of the beginning of the second floor. The size of ellipses varies from 1 to 2,5 meters. They are made of transparent plastic and wires. On the ellipses we can see the projection of a digital collage made of photos taken with microscope and satellites. We can see the projections only during the night. In the daylight we can see on the surface of the ellipse shadows of thin rope intertwined in a shape of a network.

The ellipses are made of plastic stretched around a fat wire. There are holes in the plastic in case of the rain, so the water can go through. The ropes that cause the shadow in the daylight are tied on the fat wire. At the edges of each ellipse are mounted four support wires so you can regulate the inclination of each structure. Those four wires are vertically mounted to carrier strands that cross the street in a perpendicular way from one house to another. In the second floor are positioned analog slide projectors that are mapping the ellipses from above and because of the transparency of the plastic the image can be seen from both sides of the hanging objects. The image is a collage of patterns that repeats they forms in micro and macro dimensions.

The installation was made for Lightning guerilla festival in Ljubljana in Slovenia. The theme of that year was memory, so I made a research of the memory of the universe. The cosmos is expanding all the time and we can see it’s patterns made by the laws of creation and destruction repeating in micro and macro dimensions. Patterns of physical phenomena like rivers, veins, trees, cities, constellations, neurons, streets, roots, circuits have the same network patterns and we can find similar phenomenon in the sizes of atom or a solar system. The motion of energies shows the memory of the universe in the laws like golden ratio, Fibonacci system, canons of the tone scale and distance of planets, intervals, mathematics, geometry… The image that was projected on the object is a collage of this patterns that intertwine each other and create new landscapes of new possibly worlds and shows the symbiosis within the micro and macro universe.

19,7 μs // dim dynamo blot is a 1.54’ long stop motion hand drawn animation. There is no narrative story, we can observe just the movement of a black tangled object made of pencil drawn lines. Those are interweaving in a dynamic movement and comparison between the object and empty space, passing from the soft and light shapes to aggressive and violent movements. The animation is made of 900 50x100mm pencil draws. They were not drawn on the transparent paper, but in a linear order one next each other.
