Tweetbundels give a selected insight of a person's twitteracount edited by Jan Dirk van der Burg. He edited and produced 10 different books of 10 different persons of whom some are Dutch celebrities. The books show the original tweets without the specific date and time that they were posted. This counts also for the pictures. The selected tweets and pictures tell a story about the person involved in a dry and funny way.
The tweetbundels are made without the consent of the persons involved. How Dirk Jan selected the specific twitter accounts and why is unclear for me. In someway I find this a weak project, yet knowing now that he did make a selection in tweets and pictures makes it a bit different. Thy are made with he idea how a paper version (book) of twitter would look like and how we can preserve a fluent medium like Twitter. Jan Dirk smartly enough links a performance by him to the books where he reads out the tweetbundels.
Tweetbundels feel a bit like a loose project. It is nice to think about the medium Twitter, what it does tour, how we use it, but the way Dirk Jan translated it into these books feel loose and not accurate.
