1. Constant Nieuwenhuys - New Babylon
Constant is a famous Dutch artist, co-founder of the Cobra and The Situationisten.
New Babylon has different kinds of forms, like a painting, manifest, or an maquette which are made from metal, concrete and others kind of material. It's not just an maquette, but a piece of art.
At first side New Babylon is an experimental research in material and architecture,
but actually the work is about searching for utopia.
2. The Piratecinema
The Prirate Cinema is an kind of exhibition where the hidden activity of peer-to-peer file sharing becomes visible.
The project is presented as a monitoring room, which shows Peer-to-Peer transfers happening in real time on
networks using the BitTorrent protocol. The installation produces an arbitrary cut-up of the files currently being exchanged.
3. Allan Kaprow - The Happening
A happening is a performance, event or situation meant to considered art, usually as performance art.
Happenings can appears everywhere and the active participation of the audience is very important.
The artist has to start the happening, but there are strict rules what can or cannot happen, otherwise it’s not an happening.
