Marlon Harder's graduation project documentation has the form of a flipbook, containing two sets of photos and a text about the project and its process.
The documentation started in May 2014, when I recorded the first of a series of three brief interviews with her. In these talks, she explains what exactly she would build, describes her plan to build it and states her motivation. The interviews were then transcribed, edited and added to the book.
The photos seen in the book were taken during the build up of the exhibition, which took place in Tent from June 12 to June 24, 2014. One of the photo sets was produced by the webcam used in her own project. The webcam would be activated every 3 minutes. The other photo set was produced by a regular photo camera, also taking pictures every 3 minutes. Only half of the pictures taken were used in the book, due to practical, mundane reasons.
The result was a 260-page flipbook, showing the building process through two different points of view plus the already mentioned interview. It was presented at Worm in June 24, 2014. For this presentation, besides the book, I prepared a very simple html page containing two gifs with the image sequences and an excerpt of the text.
