BUYING A KOONING
working title
Start kickstarter
The Kickstarter contains a video explaining the project, backer rewards & a FAQ.
Finance a group buy of a single original art piece, preferably well known / famous.
Goal of the kickstarter is +- 50.000$ - 200.000$
We make a high resolution digital file of the original painting
This image is open source and free for everyone, no single person owns the image, and therefor, no single work exists.
The value of a painting divided into three parts:
-> Artistic value -> Cultural value -> Financial value
With this project we remove the financial value of the work whilst keeping and improving its artistic and cultural value.
Everyone who backs gets the file, we divide the painting as a souvenir among the highest backers.
