Yes, it is true, another heist took place, and I am the culprit. Here is a timeline:

Tuesday, July 14
    09:51 - Rosa to Thijs on Signal: a plotter is available for free on Marktplaats

    12:22 - Alessia to Thijs and Victor on Whatsapp: the plotter police got us. We must return our HP7475A's

    16:33 - Claudio to XPUB on Zulip: XPUB is interested. Can someone pick it up?
    17:16 - Sevgi to XPUB on Zulip: replied to the plotter posting

    14:43 - Thijs walks out of the building with an inconspicuous package.
    16:06 - Thijs to Joak on Signal: talk about new plotter. 
    16:06 - Joak to Thijs on Signal: tips on how not to let the capacitor explode.
    16:25 - Thijs arrives home. Inspection of plotter commences.
    17:09 - Thijs finishes demo plot. Plotter confirmed working.
    17:25 - Thijs on the wiki: 
            Thijs has not yet announced to XPUB that they were the culprit.
            Thijs worries: this was never meant to be a race.
            Thijs hopes XPUB is happy -- Thijs is happy to share for XPUBious purposes.
            Thijs considers it serendipitous that the plotter police and a new plotter heist occurred simultaneously.

Unboxing

Demo

To access the demo on the Roland DXY-1100, perform the following steps:

1. make sure the plotter is turned off
2. hold the 'Enter' button while turning the plotter on with the power button on the side
3. wait for the plotter to initialize (pen holder will move to the upper right) -- the 'pause' LED should be lit
4. press the 'pause' button to unpause

Note that the demo uses all 8 pens.
