Leisure factory
Crowdsourced Precarity
The visual result of the Leisure factory project is a series of webcam portraits taken by workers / users of Amazon's Mechanical Turk of themselfves in their own working environement.
Workers Mechanical Turk complete online so-called 'HITS' (stands for Human Intelligence Task) for a monetary payment. Depending on the type of HIT the amount of payment usually ranges in between a few dollar cents up to a few dollars.
