I took a train trip on the 29th of October, thinking: If i'll be animating a stream train, I want to feel what it's like to be on one. There were a bunch of children with their parents, and some people who are into trainspotting. I looked up if there's a name for them, and there is. They're called Railfans. On Wikipedia it says that Railfans often combine the hobby of looking at trains with other activities, such as photography, videography, radio scanning and railway modeling.
