Aitan Ebrahimoff (@aitan.tv) creates videos and directs promos for the media and cultural sector.
As a Fine Art & Design student at the Piet Zwart Institute, his videos combine parody, speculation, fantasy and documentary. With a background in Anthropology he builds new hybrid realities with human and non-human actors. Official Selections include Fringe, Shorts on Tap, Palace International and London Experimental Film Festival. His genre of choice is Utopia-Apocalypse.
Since moving to Amsterdam, he directs promos for art institutions, combining clear messaging with fresh imagery. During a stint as a Promo Director in TV, he collaborated with DOPs, art directors, motion designers, and sound designers. He was nominated for Best Newcomer at PROMAX 2019 and received a Silver at PROMAX Africa 2020. He manages productions from concept to delivery, expanding the idea throughout the process.
