| Rejected is a collection of found images of children from my former elementary school Vest. The images represent school pictures which are yearly made of the children. The collection exist of 2 types of pictures, one with a black mark attached to it and one without. The first one is the rejected picture, the second is the accepted picture. The mark is being added afterwards by the photographer to indicate this is the wrong one. The total collection is turned into a book.

| ''- Why:''
| |
|
| |
| The pictures are from a time when photography was analogue. Because of that the photographer had to rely on its own skills. Is the picture correct or not? Only afterwards when the films are developed the photographer can see if he made the right decision. To distinguish the pictures from each other of one person the photographer marked the pictures.

| |
| The marks on the pictures are random in size and with. Therefor the book is ordered from vertical marks to horizontal marks, second from more than one to a single mark and last the length. To emphasise the fact that the collection is from my former elementary school I included in the book my childhood pictures.
