Bio
Loes van Dorp has studied Fine Arts atThe Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in Den Haag.
After four years working as an artist, making photographs, drawings and animations, she felt the need of developing more depth and focus in her work and applied for this Master.
In her latest work she used different techniques of animation to tell a story. It started with her addiction to drawing, where she often chooses to be inspired by tea stains on paper. While drawing, the stains transform into weird creatures. In the story she meats these extraordinary creatures in person. This is a 4,5 minute animation film, which also features as the music video for the song ‘wehavemetthedaylightbefore’ by Space Siren.
