Concept / Content Idea / Relation to form

I want to make a book out of film stills. I'm fascinated by the interrelationship between photography and moving image. Where does photography stop and film begin? and vice versa.

For the first experiment I chose a short iPhone video I took last summer. It's of mosquitos flying around.

The book contains one second of film, which is 29 film stills. I printed them on semi transparent paper.

First Result

One second of mosquitos flying around above my head
