On a Small Island, In a Big Island (working title)

First experiment

Experiment with text and old footage that my grandpapa shot (16mm). I made this to actually just get started instead of just thinking about getting started the whole time. I feel like "On a Small Island, In a Big Island" could say something about states of being or states of mind. Thinking time is going backwards was quite a fictional state of being. I think I'm also interested in experimenting with the concept of time.

I think it has become more clear for myself that I want to work with text and film. In the experiment I chose for a conventional way of showing text, I definitely want to play around with this more.
