Digital infrared
All of these photos were shot with my Nikon D40 in combination with the Hoya IR 72 filter.
The monochromatic pink tones are the effect of the dark red filter, this in combination with the high aperture and slow shutterspeed creates these pink/red tones.
These photographs are only a representation of the infrared spectrum.
The filter is only passing light from the very high red edge of the visible spectrum and infrared light.
