Group Crit
Each of you has the opportunity to present your current research and plans future research in 20 minutes -- and this is followed by an approx 25 - 35 minutes discussion with your peers.
Simon and/or Barend will chair the group but will not participate in the discussion: this session is designed as a chance to discuss your work with your fellow students: so please come prepared to ask questions of others as well as make your own presentation.
The core question to consider is: how are you developing your practice into something new? Ideally, presentations should cover:
CONTEXT - what work of others would you consider as creating a useful context for your own work?
STRATEGIES for development
PURPOSE and underlying ambitions
CURRENT experiments and works.
it will be scheduled every other Tuesday 14.30 - 17.30 and so each week we will view three people's work. After the first round of everybody having presented, we will have a second meeting to discuss format and adjustments we wish to make before the next round.
