General notes:

How are the writing and making relating to eachother.

Dan: I have a clearer sense of the writing as an ongoing project- this has provided a stability…

Angelica: I feel the opposite I feel I need to sit down and write on a regular basis.

Anni: In my making I feel it’s more OK to be unclear about… there is a different relation with writing… we were talking about mixing…

Dan: I always think you have strong themes.

Kate: this may relate to Anni’s chosen form... the speech

Tor I find the making and writing are intertwined; I feel it’s been helpful for the making, there is a different materiality to text and objects. The time and pressure on the text is very helpful.

Eo: have been trying to write about making, the diary as a framework for allowing other things to entre it.

Tor: Ashby: words, fire and paper…when these rhythms feedback through each other, destroy and form each other… very interesting and very frustrating.

Ash: the difference in volume, I expect to do many more words; with art work I can’t visualize this. It takes doing it to do something good with writing

E: how do you make the distinctions.

Ash: have a different status for these things; how to know when something is finished.

Eo: writing is less physical, I find this less rewarding; printing it helps…

Dan: making posters and playing with type can help…

Eo: It is difficult for people to answer the question about who we are addressing.
