Tor: Ashby - words, fire and paper… I discussed with Will [Holder] when these rhythms feed back through each other, destroy and form each other… [the process is] very interesting and very frustrating. | |||
Ash: the difference in volume, I expect to do many more words than eight thousand; with artwork I can’t visualize this in the same way. It takes doing it to do something good with writing. | |||

Structural edit = looking at text as a material with a volume… vital part in the making and | |||
Line edit = Sentence by sentence, asking what does each sentence do? Is the text telling me what I want it to? | |||
