WRITING MACHINE: Create a simple situation with characters who are in a particular place, situation and relation to each other. Focus on a relation that can be applied to many different scales and realms – for example host-guest or host-parasite or master-slave (in sex or society). Develop the script by having the relations between the characters transform and by adding new characters and thus new relations that, nevertheless, are variations of the initial ‘root relation’. Take the root relation to different scales also, zooming in and out from microbial level to societal or cosmic level and so on.
