The .FUN Media File Type
What?
A media file type that can be read as audio, video, and an image in a companion application. The application can be used to edit the file and get immediate previews.
Why?
There are no media file types designed to glitch and corrupt, as they are typically designed to be clear displays of media. the .fun file type would be designed to be permissive of expression in its byte code.

Polyglot
What?
Software that can read numerous file formats and interpret each of them in 4 ways: audio, video, image, and (legible) text. It translates the raw byte code in four ways essentially.

FaggotDotCom
What?
Why?
Payment processors and conservative advocacy groups are and have been cracking down on queer and transgressive web content, by strong-arming storefronts and content hosting platforms into moderating against them. I want to make something that can be used as an alternative, or to counteract it.

Noise
What?
An interactive narrative incorporating noise while laying its processes bare. How it was made, the thoughts behind it, the method to the chaos, et cetera.
Why?
Noise presents itself in many ways, most of which are generally considered undesirable. What can the communities that instead choose to celebrate noise teach us, and what can I make to help people learn and appreciate things about noise?
Workflow
Establishing different noise-heavy workflows, using both analog and digital methods of incorporating it. Writing an overarching narrative which incorporates these processes in a player-facing way. Have it all come together in a final 'whole' interactive experience, using some sort of unifying platform like Unity or Godot or a secret third thing.

Relation to Previous Practice
I've made roughly 35 games/prototypes, depending on your definition of what a game is, and much of this was focused on things like playability and appeal. Recent submersion into noise and noise-like communities/practices has made me interested in un-playability and un-appeal as an intentional method, and I want to pursue this in a way that is absorbable by people who aren't already into noise and noise-likes.
Choices Made
It should ease people in, it should explain itself even though it doesn't have to, it should be an interactive narrative playable on a computer, it could be an installation? I kind of want it to be an interactive multimedia installation...
Lessons In Analog
What?
VJ/Multimedia installation incorporating analog input output and re-input in some way.
Why?
In an age of digital, what can the analog methods of old teach us? How does VHS, cassette, vinyl, and film interact and converse with the now?

Technologia Ruminantia
What?
A technological ruminant, taking in data and repeatedly re-processing it, kind of like a rube goldberg machine but with data instead of kinetic energy. At the end of this process it outputs the same data, but in a mangled and new form indicative of the ruminant's internal processes.
Why?
Repeatedly feeding output as input to soft- and hardware creates distortions that grow in severity with each repetition. I like to think of these as the interpretative dreams of machines/codecs/formats/clockwork, and I want to highlight this aspect of technology rather than the dry focus on flawless imitation and reproduction we seem to value so much.

A Network of Bedrooms
What?
A 'homemade' video game about bedroom game development and indiedev culture, modeled in a way evocative of a homemade family recipe. Including a rustic french country kitchen-chic installation.
Why?
Game development and other creative multi-media pursuits have never been as accessible as it has been today, hosting platforms like itch.io are flooded with games, comics, assets and TTRPG systems on the daily. Most of these are completely free for use or read or play, and I want to look and see what this says about this creatively-inclined subculture's values and ideological pillars.
