Camilo and I are working on a current protest in Colombia. Through our conversation, we explain what is happening there, require the empathy of the world and express a homage to victims. Flask

"the port is already in use"

stop your flask application if you don't have your terminal open anymore, but the flask app it still running:
sudo netstat -nlp | grep 5000
> tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:5000 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 7119/python3

then you can stop the flask application by "killing" the process, using the unique pid (process-ID)
kill 7119

now you can start your flask again!
