As a Video Director I use moving image to speculate on reality. Official Selections include Shorts on Tap, Palace International and London Experimental Film Festival. For the upcoming year I want to mix dramatic cinema and essay film with a big dollop of Digital manipulation and crafty collage. As a former advertising Creative, I'm inclined to question the motives of brands and find creepy ways of exposing their dark side. I had an Orthodox upbringing, so I often see overlaps between Religion and late capitalist group-think. As well as directing shorts, I produced 84303 (2016) a documentary which captures the testimony of Zigi Shipper, the youngest survivor to leave Auschwitz. I graduated in Anthropology back in day, so I'm interested in how we embody and re-perform culture.
