| Bio | Luca Tichelman (1995) is a Dutch artist / Filmmaker.
Her works explore the means of identifying a self. Showing the different ways of articulating who we are, and how many versions we can be depending on the circumstances. In 2017 Luca graduated from the Toneelacademie Maastricht (Institute for Performative Arts Maastricht). And graduated the master’s degree program ‘Lens-Based Media’ at the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam, the Netherlands in 2022. Combining theater and film are an essential element in her work. |

For her graduation Luca made three works: One short film entitled THIS IS US A story of those , them , me and we (16min), A digital triptych; LOOK A LIKE / LUC A LIKE (50min) And a series of three miniature sculptures named SMALL THINGS MATTER. All three projects are in relation to topics such as how we as humans seek to connect with one another and therefore ourselves - The endless surge for how we are and what role our family members play in defining that.
