The medium is the massage, an inventory of effects – Marshall McLuhan and Quentin Fiore

This book is a graphic representation of McLuhan thesis “the medium is the message” written in the early 1960s. This thesis focuses on how the medium, more than its content, shapes every aspect of society and on how each medium produces a different "effect" on the human sensorium. Quentin Fiore visually produces those effects in the book. McLuhan argues that modern media are extensions of human senses; they ground us in physicality, but expand our ability to perceive our world to an extent that would be impossible without the media.
